SALAAM (South Asia Literature, Arts, And Music) started as a literary magazine in 2011 when Neha felt there was a paucity of information on what it means to be South Asian. The first issue was received with positive reviews and a desire for more.
Ravi joined in 2013 during his freshman year, bringing lots of enthusiasm in taking SALAAM forward. Here we present to you the web-version of SALAAM, with additional content (including multimedia) to the print magazine. If you'd like to see more of something or have any suggestions, let us know! Also, please visit our umbrella group TASA for more information about Tufts' South Asian culture in general.
